Christ Is Alive: Going Deeper Into God’s Word
We want to make the public aware of what the Bible is actually saying.
Minister James Peters Jr. received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was filled with the Holy Spirit in 1985, at which time he immediately fell in love with God and His word. His hunger and thirst for the Word eventually led him to meditate on Galatians 2:20, which states: “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.”
From this meditation, God gave him the idea for the Christ Is Alive jewelry and clothing line to finance the gospel of Jesus (Yahshua) Christ. Since Minister Peters’ burning passion has always been to lead souls back to God, the Lord gave him this witnessing tool to create more conversation and focus on His son’s victory—the Resurrection.
Minister Peters has served at Faith Church, under the leadership of Pastor Charles Green and at the Upperroom Bible Church (UBC), under the direction of Pastor Herbert H. Rowe. Both are located in New Orleans, LA. He demonstrated his love for people by serving as the head of the Altar Worker’s Ministry at UBC for 11 years.
Additionally, he is a 2002 honors graduate of the UBC School of Ministry. After graduation, he was called and anointed by God to teach “the gifts of the Spirit” in the same institution for three years.
Minister Peters is married to Diane Kaufman Peters. They have three children: Je’ Nae, Jared, and Laurin and two grandchildren: Jhi and Skyler.
